A crater by the sea
Formed during the 1730 eruptions this natural amphitheatre by the sea contains an emerald-green lagoon formed by the sunken crater. The colour comes from natural algae living in the warm water and contrasts with the black sand beach. A spectacular view that can't help but impress you.
